Food Security...the pioneers survived! How did they do it? People have no idea that they need a source of unprocessed food, such as , fruit from fruit trees. If they have any property grow fruit trees. Fruit has enzymes. If they can raise their own chickens for eggs..this is a good protein source. We started doing this, when we moved out of California and bought a home in Utah. and planted 12 trees (11 fruit trees) on a regular sized home lot My daughter is learning how to jar the fruit. Survival food has no enzymes...No enzymes no vital nutrients to keep people well. It's a miracle that my own family survived years without food during the great Depression...I attributed it to chi, manna. or prana (the breath of life)..because as a child t don't remember food in the house. I do remember at 7 years old in 1941, sitting down at a table at a relative's home... not knowing how to use implements...I was embarrassed.
